Costa Rica Outreach

Sukkot 2011

Season of our Joy is pleased to have an opportunity to be expanding our horizons in spreading Torah to other peoples in other nations. For 2011, we will be co-sponsoring a Spanish Sukkot site at Camp San Fernando near San Jose, Costa Rica, working with Joel Sanchez and his wife Gaby.

As Joel has been preparing a Sukkot web site in Spanish for the Costa Rican believers, he was pleasantly surprised when almost 100 people immediately expressed their great interest and their intention to get together.

That web site has information about the Sukkot location and registration as well. There may be room for some more people to register to attend this Spanish speaking Sukkot celebration, depending on how many Costa Ricans register.

The camp’s web site is Camp San Fernando and it has pictures that even English speaking people can look at and enjoy, since pictures are presented in what could be called a universal language. “Galeria” is the tab to choose to look at the new photo gallery.

On Saturday during Sukkot, SOOJ will have Rico Cortez giving a Spanish presentation via web link to the Festival attendees in Costa Rica. Anyone attending Sukkot with SOOJ at the Windermere Camp in Missouri is welcome and encouraged to attend his presentation (in Spanish only).

The leadership of SOOJ is very excited to be a part of this new outreach of the Father’s Sukkot celebration. We hope you will join us to help make this possible

Joel & Gaby Sanchez

My walk with YHVH began in December 1998. After attending the University of Louisiana at Monroe I moved to Costa Rica, and in August of 2004 began Crucified Life Ministries. Mission work has opened my eyes and heart to the great need for the truth of YHVH in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

The ministry has been specially blessed to include my wife Gaby, daughters Abby and Kyla Hadassah and son Jachin Tobiah. Gaby heads up administration, and the clothing and orphanage work we assist with, and occasionally travels with me.

In August 2007, the ministry took an interesting turn as we began discovering our Hebraic Roots and studying the Scriptures from a Hebraic perspective, enhancing my relationship with YHVH and my family. Since then we have shared a restoration message with brother Judah in Costa Rica by teaching and striving to live our lives in obedience to scripture as a light and example to help turn them to the Father.

Our praise and thanks goes to the Father for His faithfulness and His restoration in our lives and the lives of all those He provides the open doors to minister to.
