We are enthusiastic about this year’s Festival program for the Teens! Along with the activities from last year, we have added a camp-fire sing-a-long and a special service day on the Sabbath. The exciting and more challenging activities like cave exploration and the “High Ropes" course will also be offered this year!

Write azbluesky7@yahoo.com now to sign-up to insure your participation for the Caves, Teambuilding and High Ropes! The Camp must provide a minimum number of instructors for the cave and ropes based upon the number of teens participating. A sign-up list will also be available at the Teen’s Intro meeting for these activities on a First come-First serve basis.
Cave Exploration: $7.50 per teen: Wear pants & long sleeve shirts! Bring a flashlight!
Teambuilding and the High Ropes: $18 per teen (total cost).
Sabbath Service Day and Senior’s Luncheon. In addition to the fun and fellowship, an important part of the Feast is learning the joys of serving others. Teens will be assisting with the Senior's Luncheon the regular Sabbath Services.On the Sabbath, teens will assist in greeting people at the door, serving coffee, ushering, and microphone assistance with Q&A. Please wear dressy casual clothes (no blue jeans, T-shirts, shorts and sandals).
Dancing. We’ll be learning Hebraic dancing. Bring your energy!
Talent Night. Teens will also be participating in a dance for the Talent Night. Are you interested in participating? Please pack some black clothing: for the young men – slacks and shirt; for the young women – modest skirt, blouse and gaucho/capri’s to wear under. The vests will be supplied to you. Focus Point. Learning from the Torah in an atmosphere of friendship building and discussion will also be our priority. A Midnight Midrash will be held on Wednesday evening Oct 19 for your discussion questions on any topic, plus our Focus Point series will offer insightful teachings! Topics will include:
k Hebrew 1-2-3! - Sandie Breazier or Phyllis Taylor will offer short, easy lessons on the ancient meanings of Hebrew letters and words at each of our meetings.
k He said, She said, You said,God said. - How important is your word, today? Saying it? Meaning it? Keeping it? Mike Bacon will share a video on the impacts words have, and a discussion on how the Father still works His wonderful works today--by keeping His word! (Sabbath, Oct. 15)
k My Month in Israel - Photos & Stories. Sixteen-year old Jacob Greek will share his photos and stories of his recent 2011 tour of Israel. (Wednesday, Oct 19)
k Worms with an Aroma for Breakfast! - Gregory Bertollini will speak on Manna as a representation of God's Words--and getting things done early in the day! (Tuesday, Oct. 18)
k Write the Vision: Purposeful Secrets - "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets," Habakkuk urged, "...so he may run who reads it." What's your vision? Sarah Greek, a life & academic coach, will share strategies for living intentionally. Will you let life 'happen' to you, or will you run with purpose? (Sunday, Oct. 16)
Please note that some of the activities end late at night. We do not provide transportation or chaperone services after these activities, so please plan accordingly.
Check out the Teen Activity Schedule below. Please note that the schedule is flexible. Outside activities will be moved to another day in the event of bad weather. Inside activities might be moved outside. Activities may be added on a whim. So stay flexible! Also note that some locations are To Be Determined (TBD)---so be sure to make the very first meeting so you can get an idea of where things will be happening or if any last-minute changes have been made to the schedule.
