"Fruits of the Festivals!"
The Meaningful Fruits of the Festivals! Our Father creates with meaning.
Did He just select several seasonal fruits from his Creation for
festival offerings? Or is there more to the “rest of the story”? We live
in a modern society, detached from our agricultural roots, where we
conveniently find our foodstuffs in a supermarket. We know the
differences between milk and meat–but how many actually produce them? It
is the same with the fruits of the festivals. Do we know what it takes
to grow them? We will explore the characteristics of the 3 primary
fruits (barley, wheat, and grapes) of the 3 festivals, their Scriptural
references, their potential significant spiritual symbolic meanings for
all—Israelites and “grafted-in” Gentiles—in His “Master Plan” of
Salvation and the 4th Temple. We will also figuratively climb the
mountain to investigate the Hebrew etymology of the fruits. Bring your
hiking gear!
"Tithing–Are You Being ‘Taken’?!"
Why do many believe in tithing when they believe the Old Testament Laws
are “done away”? Is there a “tithing principle”? An “inheritance
principle”? Many are pinching pennies while some television ministries
are pumping their audiences to sow their “seeds” in order that believers
may achieve financial success and stability—especially in these
strenuous economic times. What is the real Scriptural definition of “the
seed”? We will cut through the fog and tackle all the Scriptures on
tithing and explain it in “ABC” terms. In short: Tithing is not “done
away”…it is simply not applicable today! We will explore the Scriptural
who, what, why, when, and where of tithing; address how King David
utilized the tithe, and discover there is more to Malachi than just the
3rd chapter. This may be the most comprehensive tithing exploration and
explanation you may hear in 50 minutes.

"Stewardship from a Biblical Perspective" -
Taking care of Yahweh’s Planet One Choice at a Time
This breakout will cover Yahweh’s call to his people to be stewards of
what he has blessed us with, not just money but what we possess, consume
and produce. Extreme liberal environmentalists have turned many away
from the idea of taking care of the planet to our detriment. We are
intending to show scriptural basis for the idea that we are responsible
for our “footprint” and ways to reasonably change our habits. Our goal
is not to tell you to be 100% “green” or go to hell but to give you food
for thought with information and send you away with the personal goal to
change at least one household habit for the better.

"Who is the house of Jacob?"
The name of the covenant family of the God of Israel is the house of
Jacob. There is a literal house of Jacob who became a nation at mount
Sinai. There is a redeemed house of Jacob (New Covenant) in Messiah. The
house of Jacob is likened to an olive tree. Those from the nations are
grafted into this olive tree. Messiah is the root of the olive tree. The
house of Israel (Northern Kingdom) and the house of Judah (Southern
Kingdom) are the branches of the olive tree. Both branches are broken
off (Jeremiah 11:16-17) and are grafted in through the redemptive work
of the Messiah (Romans 11:17, 24)
"The Elijah Ministry"
The ministry of Elijah is to restore the people of the God of Israel to
the Torah, prepare the bride for her bridegroom and announce the end of
the exile of the house of Jacob and the uniting of the 12 tribes of
Israel.
"Israel / PLO Peace Process"
The dividing of the land of Israel (Joel 3:2) and the city of Jerusalem
(Zechariah 14:2) to create a PLO state is a tribulation event. This will
result in the judgment of the nations. The judgment of the nations
entails war between the nations and economic collapse. From the judgment
of the nations will come one world government and one world currency.
During this time, there will be the end of the exile of the house of
Jacob and the uniting of the 12 tribes of Israel and the Messiah will be
glorified. Where are current world events in this process?

"Tabernacling in Heaven"
We are sojourners on earth. Yeshua and his Father desire to tabernacle
among us, and soon – at the Second Coming - Yeshua will take the Elect
to heaven to tabernacle there while the final chapters of Man’s Age are
being played out. This is the ultimate “crossing over” of Yahweh’s
people. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb takes place in heaven, and the
Father and the Son and the redeemed – the bride of Christ – are all
present, both the 144,000 of Israel, as well as those grafted into
Israel out of every nation, kindred, tongue and people. (Rev. 7:9) After
seven years in heaven, the Messiah will return to earth to establish his
kingdom. He will be accompanied by the saints–the “armies of heaven”
(Rev 19:14)--who have been in “boot camp” preparing for Armageddon and
the millennial reign of Christ. Answers to difficult questions will be
sought in scripture: Will any of those left behind after the Second
Coming be saved? Is there any redemptive purpose in the seven last
plagues?
"The Day of Judgment in the Book of Revelation"
Judgment is one of the main themes in the book of Revelation. Yeshua’s
statements in the Gospels about ‘the Day of Judgment’ establish the
basis for a deeper understanding of the judgment as presented in
Revelation. This study reveals that judgment is a process – sometimes
punitive, sometimes redemptive – that will be carried out with
terrifying intensity during the last seven years. When will the judgment
begin? Who will be judged? Can anyone be saved out of it? Many of these
questions will only be answered during the unveiling of the events of
the book of Revelation, but the Bible provides clues so we can have a
partial understanding now.

"Come Out of Her, My People"
Man's system, Babylon, and YHWH's way of life for man are perpendicular
to each other. They are at cross purposes. As followers of Yeshua we are
told to come out of man's system and not to partake of its sins. One of
the first ways we can learn about YHWH’s plan for us is to keep His
annual Feasts. Through them, we can learn His way of life and wean
ourselves from the world’s Babylonian system. When we "wild olive
branches" are grafted into the main stock of the cultured olive of
YHWH’s chosen people, we are not to remain as we were, but are to be
changed into that cultured olive. As the apostle Paul put it in 2 Cor 5.

“Shaken Heavens - Catastrophes of Biblical Proportions”
According to the book of Genesis, the sun, moon, & stars were created
for “signs & seasons”. Yeshua affirms “signs in the sun, moon, & stars”
will come; before his return “the heavens will be shaken”. Both
Testaments reveal , “the heavens will recede like a scroll”; the sun
will be “as sackcloth”; the moon will “turn to blood”. “Wise men” knew
that a “star in the east” marked Yeshua’s first coming; so how might we
interpret today’s signs? In conjunction with ~100 ancient historical (extrabiblical)
witnesses, signs recorded in accounts of Noah, Babel, Sodom & Gomorrah,
Exodus, Joshua, Deborah & Barak, Gideon, David, Elijah, and Hezekiah are
presented as clues essential to unlocking Revelation’s mysteries. No
doubt, “there is nothing new under the sun”.

"Simchat Beit HaShoeivah, Rejoicing in the House
of the Water Drawing"
This ceremony was a first century tradition practiced by the Jewish
people during the fall festival of Sukkot. Because it appears that
Messiah Yeshua used this very special tradition as a backdrop for one of
His most important teachings during His last Sukkot festival, we have
made it a part of Season of Our Joy since our very first Sukkot festival
back in 1999. With the help of Joseph Good from Hatikva Ministries, we
will share with you the details of this ancient and meaningful custom.

"A History of Proselytism in the Nation of Israel"
What is a proselyte? What is their status according to the commandments
of Scripture? How have they impacted the Nation of Israel? If we are
grafted in, is proselytism a natural conclusion or a mandatory action
for Gentiles who seeks to serve the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?

"The Eighth Day: A Closer Look "
The Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot is always designated in scripture as
being seven days, yet we meet for eight. Ancient Israel marked the
occasion the same way. What is this appendage, the Eighth Day? The
annual festivals looked forward to future events; some are yet to reach
their ultimate fulfillment. Explanations I have heard for the ultimate
fulfillment of the Eighth Day have included a number of options none of
which has thoroughly exhausted the instruction we have been given.
These explanations have missed dots in scripture that need to be
connected. I believe we can connect a few more dots.

"Values and Priorities"
What are the values and priorities revealed by Scripture? Do our values
differ today? Should they? How can we determine that our Priorities are
pleasing to the Creator? Does this subject affect our Salvation? Should
we really Care?

"Physical Preparedness for Yahweh’s People – Now More Than
Ever "
Yahweh’s people have always endured through difficult times. Weathering
these periods can be difficult or manageable, depending on a couple of
factors: your spiritual walk and your physical/mental preparations. In
this breakout, we will be discussing the latter. This is an introductory
class to get people thinking about what their physical needs are, how to
plan for them and then taking action… one step at a time. It will
quickly cover many basic topics, including Biblical support, water,
gardening, food storage & prep, shelters, clothing & environment,
heating, lighting, communications, sanitation & hygiene, alternative
energy, transportation, personal protection, fire protection, health,
medical emergencies, special needs, bartering and mental preparation.

"Sukkot: Grafted In...."
Hebrew hermaneutics can enable one, like an archeologist, to dig thru
the progressive levels God has breathed into his word. Today after a
brief review of Hebrew Hermaneutics 101, we will explore the Bible's
teaching about the wonders of Sukkot. From the plain command (Pashat),
to its applications (Remes). Then deeper thru allegory (Deresh), and
finally into the deepest (yes, and the highest) the mysteries (Sod). We
will dig thru His Word to see the mystery of Sukkot: “Grafted In….”
"Grafted in… all Israel Shall Be Saved"
Israel is God's son, yet Messiah is God's son? How is it that we are
grafted into the Messiah? If one is grafted into Messiah, is one then
grafted into Israel? This is the final frontier; this is what the fall
holy convocations are about. ... and all Israel shall be saved. Baruch
HaShem.
"Ma’amadot: A History of Prayer & Synagogue"
From a few men standing around watching the temple services, in their
course, to community participation, the history of the standing prayer,
the Amidah, unveils the development of local assemblies, synagogues, and
the formalized liturgy and prayers passed down to us, and by which we
bless and are blessed today. This is a history. About God and people.
About where we fit into the flow of time and place. How details vary in
time and place, as principles endure. Presented to increase our
appreciation of, even our personal participation in, our Hebrew & Jewish
roots…. Grafted in.

"Retro-Translating the New Testament"
See a retro-translation of the Greek NT, back into Hebrew, and then into
English--transform your reading of the New Testament. In this session we
will be presenting a new and informative translation of the New
Testament. Learn about the tools to get beneath the Greek text into a
Hebrew world of thought, context, and see the words of Yeshua and the
Apostles explode with meaning and depth.
"Obligation vs. Freedom"
Exploring the boundaries and intersections of faith, freedom, obedience,
and covenantal faithfulness. This will be a time of descriptions and
discussions on the Apostolic call to Torah. "Live as people who are
free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as
servants of God" (1Pt. 2:16).
"To the Jew First"
Engage and consider Paul's statement, "For I am not ashamed of the
gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who
believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16). A
Gospel message that can be delivered to and received by the Jewish
people is the right Gospel Message. In this session we will explore the
need to re-contextualize the Gospels back to their Jewish matrix and how
that will impact the Jewish people--and deliver the right Gospel message
to the Nations.

"Grafted In-It Means What?"
The Feast of Tabernacles, called the Season of Our Joy, illustrates the
establishment of the thousand year Messianic Kingdom ushered in at the
second coming of Yeshua. We’ll go to the Scriptures and take a look at
some of the fascinating things mentioned about this time. The role of
the Gentiles will also be discussed, both those grafted in and those who
are not part of the Commonwealth of Israel. Then, we’ll examine the
beginning of that Commonwealth with Moses, and learn what it meant to be
grafted in after the Exodus.
"Being Grafted In in the First Century"
Now that we know about the Gentiles, both in the Millennial Kingdom and
in the time of Moses, we’ll fast-forward to the first century and take a
look at a number of Scriptures from Acts, Romans, Galatians, and
Ephesians that address the role of the Gentiles as a part of the
Commonwealth of Israel. Of particular interest will be an in-depth
examination of the Tanakh Scriptures used by the “pillar” Apostles in
ruling about the inclusion of the Gentiles—without full conversion to
Judaism.

"Lessons From The Sukkah"
Why did Yahewh select a primitive shelter as the centerpiece for this
Holy season? What relevance does it have for us? Does it have any
connection with the future? How does the structure of the Sukkah lead us
closer to our Messiah? In these troubled times it can be hard to find a
sense of peace and joy in our lives. Did you know that the very
construction of the Sukkah helps us to deal with issues like this? We'll
look carefully at the deep running lessons contained within the
scriptures and structure of the Sukkah.

"Hinei Ma Tov (Behold How Good)"
Scripture states repeatedly how good it is when Brethren dwell together
in peace and unity. Today the Messianic Community is anything except
unified in doctrine or in spirit. It is time to change that -- and the
change can only take place when it begins with each one of us
individually.
